Catherine Howley

Catherine-HowleyCatherine has 20 years experience of working in the education, community, voluntary and faith sectors, is an experienced facilitator, coach, tutor, mentor and trainer, using differentiated pedagogies as appropriate to her clients.  She is passionate about the “hook to learning” which she provides for clients to “move from where they are, to where they would like to be”.   Her many years of owning and working with horses has enabled her to combine her passion for, and learning with horses, to her academic and experiential skills for the benefit of her clients.

Her working experience is diverse having worked in schools, colleges and universities – with mainstream and special needs, inclusion and exclusion, with clients leaving care, confinement and prison, those dependent upon substances and alcohol, asylum seekers and refugees and those suffering from PTSD.

Her work has covered many funded projects such as working with third generation unemployment and drug dependency in families, long term unemployment, low skills, self esteem and confidence, parenting coaching, graduates into employment, social enterprise and community group development, enterprising communities and coaching in schools.

Catherine’s capacity building assignments include delivering bespoke projects for the Connexions service aimed at the most disaffected and marginalised young people to enterprise coaching for young people who are not comfortable with mainstream education. She has delivered projects for the Job Centre, Funders, Princes Trust, Fire Service, Salute Veterans, Community Safety Partnerships, Local Authorities, Strategic Partnerships and the Police.

Catherine is an NLP Master Practitioner and a practitioner in Sirolli Enterprise Facilitation, Mark Gold Systematic Instruction, Community Economic Development, Clean Space and Clean Language, Magical Spelling, Integral Eye Movement, Conflict resolution, Provocative Therapy, IAG4, Accredited Life Coach, Webster Stratton parent coach – Strengthening Families and Early Years, International student and professional exchange.
