HorseHeard Rainbow Programmes launched

As part of HorseHeard’s charity launch initiative we have selected five programmes to take forward on a wholly funded basis but with the opportunity for local businesses to become involved through sponsorship.  The five programmes selected are: Nelson & Colne College ; Cumbria Schools Project; The Door – Stroud; YMCA – Newcastle; and Gloucester Young Adult Carers.  We will be delivering a full range of programmes from ‘Being Friends’, ‘Take the LEAP’ and bespoke one-day workshops.  These programmes will provide the opportunity for nearly sixty young people to benefit from the increased emotional resilience, self-confidence, self-awareness and self-esteem that can be realised through Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL).  HorseHeard is very excited about working with each of these wonderful organisations / initiatives that will help each young person with an unrivalled development opportunity.  The Cumbria Schools programme started on 14 Nov and dates for all other programmes have been agreed or are near to being agreed.  In Gloucester we have already attracted some business sponsorship.
